Competition A Big Hit!

The 4th Annual Trinity-Horizon Inter-Club Competition between Trinity Taekwon-Do of Cochrane and Horizon Taekwon-Do of Airdrie held on March 6th in beautiful Bragg Creek was a big success.

The event had 70 competitors of all ages ranging from white belt to black belt as well as competitors from the Li’l Kickers program, our Taekwon-Do class for children age 4-7.

The annual “mini-tournament,” designed to give our students a chance to experience the thrills of competition on a smaller scale, was embraced by all. This event is always a big hit with the clubs as it is close to home, low cost and low stress. The bigger tournaments often require some travel, cost more money and are a much bigger undertaking. This was a nice change of pace for many of our students, parents and instructors. We are already looking forward to next years event which will see a Taekwon-do demonstration added to the agenda.
