Trinity sent 7 athletes to the November 8th Alberta/BC Provincial Championships in Edmonton, Alberta. Everyone competed in both patterns and sparring and our club returned 9 medals for our efforts. Great job everyone!

Here is an update re: Provincial Championships

This year’s first tournament will be held in Edmonton, AB on Saturday, November 8th. This tournament will act as both the Alberta and BC Provincial Championships and will allow ALL competitors a chance to qualify for a tounament in Puerto Rico (not just Black Belts)!

This is a great opportunity for new students to be introduced to the tournament scene as well as a chance for the rest of us to get into tournament mode. Registration forms are available by email only.

I am proud to announce that Trinity has officially entered into our fifth year of operations! Beginning on September 8th, we had a great turnout of both new and returning students for the first night of classes. Thank you to those who came out for the first time and welcome back to the rest of you. This sure looks like an exciting year full of fun training and intense competition. I am looking forward to journeying through this season of Taekwon-Do with all of you!

A new season is upon us!

The summer is coming to an end which means that Taekwon-Do is ready to begin! Classes will begin on Monday, September 8th which will double as both registration night and the first class. Remember that class times have changed!

Summer Highlights for Trinity TKD:

- 2 month Taekwon-Do program a big success in Morley, AB. Thank you to Mr. Fetaz and Ms. Fundytus for putting in all your hard work, time and energy.

- Mr. Rock successfully promoted to IV Degree! Congratulations on your promotion and a job well done on your test.

- Mr. Macdonald and Mr. Rock attended a Black Belt Patterns Seminar with Master Stanley in Calgary, AB on August 23rd. A lot was learned from this 1 day event and we will do our best to pass on the abundance of knowledge.

Trinity Kicks Up in Morley!

Trinity was recently asked to run a summer martial arts program in Morley, Alberta. What a great opportunity for us to venture out and introduce Taekwon-Do to more people. Mr. Fetaz and Ms. Fundytus have stepped up to the plate and taken charge of this 2 month session. I am thrilled to have two dedicated and talented individuals in these positions of leadership. Have an awesome summer out in Morley and make us proud… we know you will!

Well another fabulous year of Taekwon-Do training has past and what a year it was. Trinity had students compete and win medals in local, provincial, regional, and even international events. What an accomplishment that is and what a proud instructor I am! Great job everyone.

As we move on from the 2007/2008 season, we begin preparations for 2008/2009. We can only hope that this coming season is as successful as the last. However, you can’t judge success merely by the medals around people’s necks after a hard fought tournament. We have been so blessed to have so many wonderful families and students in our club. Success stems from the attitudes, enthusiasm and perseverance that everyone has displayed. We are family. Thank you for a great year everyone and I look forward to the next. Enjoy your summer!
